The Valley Of Flowers is one of the most beautiful and mesmerizing national parks of the country, situated at an altitude of 12,000 ft in Bhyundar valley in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand.
This enchanting valley lay frozen during the colder months, and burst into its youthful beauty every year, as the snow melted with the advent of summer. Every year, the valley is splashed with colours as it blooms with hundreds of kinds of flowers, taking on various shades of colors as months progress.
The Trek goes through the dense forest and the trail is beside the Pushpawati river. On the way you will encounter many waterfalls, bridges and small water streams. It is famous for its natural beauty and the variety of flora it comprises.
Set against the backdrop of the mighty Himalayas, tall alpine flowers swaying in the breeze on a sunny day are a sight to behold. Watch the clouds descend and play hide & seek with the mountains. You are sure to rub your eyes in disbelief, wondering if this place does exist.
Drive Distance: 280 Kms || Time Taken: 8-9 hrs
Receive guests from Dehradun early in the morning and drive to Govindghat.
Drive Distance: 20 Kms || Time Taken: 1 hr || Trek Distance: 10 Kms || Time Taken: 5-6 hrs
After breakfast we will drive to Poolna where we will start out trek.
Poolna to Ghangharia is a beautiful trek route with magnificent views and river accompanying you throughout.
Trek Distance: 4 kms and back || Time Taken: 3 hrs each way
It’s a delightful and short ascent to the valley. Gradient is moderate and the landscape extremely soothing to the eye. The beauty of this world renowned valley totally lives up to its reputation. There are unending meadows laden with varieties of alpine flowers, network of streams and big mountains all around. At the entrance of the Valley stands the snow-clad peak of Ratban Parvat, towards the left is Nar Parvat, which separates the Badrinath valley from this valley, and to the right is dense Birch forest on the hillsides.
Trek Distance: 7 kms and back || Time Taken: 4 hrs each way
The Hemkund Sahib trek is one of the most popular treks in India.
Hemkund Sahib is the highest located Gurudwara in the world standing at an altitude of 14,107 ft. The Glacial Hemkund Lake is surrounded by Seven Snow Capped Peaks.
Trek Distance: 10 Kms || Time Taken: 4-5 hrs ||Drive Distance: 20 Kms || Time Taken: 45 mins
Today we will descend down to Poolna as this is the end for our trek. Then we will drive back to Govindghat.
Today, we will rest at Govindghat. This day can be used as Buffer Day in between the trek days also. This depends on weather condition & health condition of the group.
If the day is at rest, clients can enjoy local sightseeing at extra cost. Kindly have a word with HM Officials for necessary support & arrangements.
We will say our Good byes and will drive back to Dehradun.
