The Pangarchulla Trek takes you into a world of snow and Deodar forests. It covers even-odd structured snow land that covers ascending hills. The challenging snow flex gives you the patience and power to climb. Pangarchulla trek boasts breathtaking mountain ranges and untouched jungles, which are covered with soft snow throughout the year.
The journey is not that much tough, but the route throughout is long and needs enough energy to be covered. Gorgeous forests with alpine and deodars are at the foothill region, where excellent snow covered path with soft touch and nature’s colorful beauty is there preserved for the next round of the trek. While going through the woods at the bottom level, you can see Himalayan Bears and leopards. However, there is nothing to regret if they are not found, since nature has spread her seven colors over the snowy path ahead.
The Pangarchulla trek falls in the moderate level category which means even though it gives you the adrenaline rush that many adventure enthusiasts seek, it also becomes hard to keep up with the demanding nature of the trek but it rewards the bold and determined with the feeling of triumph when they reach the summit.
Pangarchulla Peak trek is a journey that is a perfect blend of adventure, natural beauty, and cultural experiences. Whether you’re a seasoned trekker or a first-timer, this hike has something for everyone.

The many flowing streams create movement to the otherwise calm woodland, with drooping pine branches bending in as though for a kiss.. In this forest, you’ll also find Himalayan Birch or Bhojpatra trees, as well as trees used to manufacture butter tea. The day begins before the sun rises. We get ready and leave our campground around 3 a.m., in the middle of night. There are no water sources along the way, and it will be a long day, so bring plenty of water. It will be the longest and most difficult day of the climb because it is summit day. The first 30 to 45 minutes of the trek are spent along a frozen rivulet through a forest ridge. There will be a thick layer of snow covering this section. It’s a steep climb of about 100 metres. A huge snowfield will appear in front of you once you have carefully ascended the snow ridge section. Look up at the middle of the snow gully. The objective is to arrive there. Walking over the fluffy, soft snow causes the slope to become steep. The forest edge is finally behind you. Sunglasses can help prevent snow blindness. The previously concealed areas are now entirely accessible, and you can view the whole Garhwal Range from your vantage point. If you’re feeling depleted after this tough trek, the force of the mountains around you has the capacity to re-energize you.
Once you reach the Pangarchulla summit, the view is awe-inspiring, as you’re surrounded by 360-degree views of the majestic Himalayan mountains. It’s a precious moment to be able to experience the beauty and magnificence of nature at its finest.
